Gelu P-Series Carbon TT and Triathlon Saddles
The Gelu P-Series is the forward-position TT and triathlon saddle in the Gelu range.
It is built for riders who sit further forward on the bike, especially in time trial, triathlon and aggressive aero road positions.
The P-Series gives you a lighter bike, a cleaner looking build and a full carbon saddle that supports you where you actually sit when riding forward on the saddle nose.
Why choose the Gelu P-Series?
- ⚡ From approx. 60g
- 📏 54mm front support
- 🏁 Built for TT and triathlon
- ✈️ Delivered in approx. 3 weeks
The forward-position Gelu saddle
The P-Series is the easiest Gelu saddle family to understand.
This is the Gelu option for riders who sit forward on the saddle, especially in time trial and triathlon positions.
If you ride in the aero bars, rotate forward through the pelvis or spend more time loaded on the front section of the saddle, the P-Series is the Gelu saddle to look at first.
More support where TT and tri riders sit
The P-Series has the largest front support base in the Gelu saddle range.
The 54mm nose gives you more support at the front of the saddle, which is important when you are riding in a forward aero position.
Instead of trying to balance on a narrow road-style nose, the P-Series gives you a wider platform where your weight is actually going.
That gives the saddle a more planted feel for TT, triathlon and aero road positions, while still keeping the full carbon weight extremely low.
Why the wider nose matters
A normal road saddle can feel narrow and unsupportive when you move forward into an aero position.
The P-Series solves that with Gelu’s wider front platform. It gives you more usable support under load, so you can stay further forward without the saddle feeling like it is working against your position.
For the rider, that means the saddle is matched to the way you ride the bike, not just the way the bike looks in a product photo.
Pressure relief for aero positions
The P-Series has a central opening designed to reduce pressure through the middle of the saddle.
This matters in forward riding positions because saddle pressure can build quickly when your hips rotate forward and more load moves onto the front of the saddle.
The P-Series combines a wider front support area with a central pressure relief opening, giving you support where you need it without adding unnecessary padding or bulk.
Full carbon construction
The P-Series uses a 100% prepreg carbon and epoxy top with oval carbon rails.
This gives you a very light, clean and direct saddle for performance bikes where every part needs to earn its place.
The P3 starts from approximately 60g, while the stronger P1 is approximately 70g. Both options give you a serious weight saving compared with most standard TT and triathlon saddles.
P-Series model options
The P-Series is available in two main versions: P1 and P3.
- P1: approx. 70g, 115kg rider limit, the stronger and more versatile P-Series option for triathlon, time trial, aero road and mixed performance builds.
- P3: approx. 60g, 85kg rider limit, the lighter P-Series option for lighter triathletes, TT riders and race-focused aero builds.
Which P-Series model should you choose?
Choose the P1 if you want the stronger and more versatile P-Series saddle. It is the better choice for most riders because it has the higher 115kg rider limit and gives you more flexibility across triathlon, time trial and aero road use.
Choose the P3 if you want the lighter P-Series saddle. It is the better choice for lighter riders, race-focused TT bikes and triathlon builds where the lowest possible saddle weight matters most.
Custom finish available
Gelu saddles can be customised with colours, names, logos and personal design details. That makes the P-Series a strong option for riders who want the saddle to look like it belongs on the bike, not like an afterthought.

Gelu P-Series FAQs
Who is the Gelu P-Series best for?
The P-Series is best for riders who sit further forward on the saddle. It suits triathlon bikes, time trial bikes, aero road positions and riders who spend more time loaded through the front section of the saddle.
What is the difference between the P1 and P3?
The P1 is the stronger and more versatile P-Series option at approx. 70g with a 115kg rider limit. The P3 is the lighter P-Series option at approx. 60g with an 85kg rider limit.
Should I choose the P1 or P3?
Choose the P1 if you want the stronger and more versatile option, especially if you want the higher rider weight limit. Choose the P3 if you are a lighter rider and want the lowest weight P-Series option for a race-focused build.
What makes the P-Series different from the other Gelu saddles?
The P-Series is the forward-position saddle in the Gelu range. It has a wider 54mm nose to give more front support for TT, triathlon and aero road riders who sit further forward.
Why does the P-Series have a wider nose?
The wider 54mm nose gives more support at the front of the saddle. This is useful for riders in aero positions because more rider weight is often loaded through the front section of the saddle.
Is the P-Series only for triathlon bikes?
No. The P-Series is designed for triathlon and time trial riding, but it can also suit aero road bikes and riders who naturally sit further forward on the saddle.
Is the P-Series padded?
No. The P-Series is a full carbon saddle. Support comes from the saddle shape, the wider front platform, the carbon structure and the central pressure relief opening rather than foam padding.
Does the P-Series have pressure relief?
Yes. The P-Series has a central opening designed to reduce pressure through the middle of the saddle, which is especially useful for riders in forward aero positions.
Will the carbon rails fit my seatpost?
The P-Series uses oval 7mm x 9mm carbon rails. Your seatpost must be compatible with oval carbon rails, not just standard round metal rails.
Can I customise the Gelu P-Series?
Yes. Gelu saddles can be customised with colours, names, logos and personal design details. This is one of the big reasons to choose Gelu over a standard off-the-shelf carbon saddle.
What if the P-Series is not the right Gelu saddle for me?
The P-Series is the forward-position TT and triathlon shape in the Gelu range. If you want a different feel, the rest of the Gelu range is easier to understand by shape:
A-Series: best all-round Gelu saddle shape.
K-Series: lightest, flattest and most minimal Gelu saddle shape.
E-Series: compact support option.
F-Series: flatter carbon spring comfort shape.
J-Series: carbon spring comfort shape for rough roads and longer rides.
S-Series: longer platform for riders who move around more.
C-Series: classic spring-inspired comfort shape.
Combo K: integrated saddle and seatpost system.
R-Series: new ultralight platform with longer rails and more adjustment range.
If you are unsure, send through your current saddle, bike, rider weight and riding style.
