Gelu K-Series Carbon Saddle

The Gelu K-Series is the lightest, flattest and most minimal saddle shape in the Gelu range.

It is built for riders who want a very light full carbon saddle with a compact platform, flat profile and clean custom finish. The K-Series gives you a lighter bike, a sharper looking build and a saddle shape that suits riders who prefer a stable, direct feel.

With model options from approximately 38g to 59g, the K-Series is the serious weight-saving option for road, gravel, MTB and performance builds.

The lightest Gelu saddle shape

The K-Series is for riders chasing the cleanest and lightest saddle setup possible. It has a short 242mm platform, 122mm width and a very flat top profile.

This makes it best suited to riders who like a minimal saddle feel, a stable position and a direct connection to the bike.

Compact, flat and versatile

The K-Series is small, compact and very flat. It is designed to suit a wide range of riders because it does not lock you into a heavily shaped sitting position.

The central opening is designed to reduce pressure through the middle of the saddle, especially through the prostate region.

K-Series model options

The K-Series is available in several versions depending on rider weight, riding style and rail preference.

  • K3: approx. 38g, 80kg rider limit, the lightest K-Series option.
  • K3+: approx. 49g, 100kg rider limit, designed for Gravel and heavier road riders.
  • K1: approx. 49g, 95kg rider limit, Road, MTB, recreation and urban use.
  • K4: approx. 59g, 115kg rider limit, the strongest K-Series option.

Custom finish available

Gelu saddles can be customised with colours, names, logos and personal design details. That makes the K-Series a strong option for riders who want the saddle to look like it belongs on the bike, not like an afterthought.

Important fit note

The K-Series is a very light, flat, compact full carbon saddle. It is not the softest or most forgiving saddle shape in the Gelu range.

If you want the lightest possible Gelu saddle, start with the K-Serie. If you want more flex or a more comfort-focused shape, the J-Series, F-Series or C-Series may be a better fit.

Gelu K-Series FAQs

Who is the Gelu K-Series best for?

The K-Series is best for riders who want the lightest and flattest Gelu saddle option. It suits weight-focused road, gravel and MTB builds where a compact full carbon saddle makes sense.

What is the difference between K1, K3, K3+ and K4?

K3 is the lightest option at approx. 38g with an 80kg rider limit. K1 is approx. 49g with a 95kg rider limit. K3+ is approx. 49g with a 100kg rider limit and is designed for gravel or heavier road riders. K4 is approx. 59g with a 115kg rider limit.

Is the K-Series comfortable?

For the right rider, yes. The K-Series is very flat and compact, so it suits riders who like a minimal saddle and a stable position. It is not the best choice if you want a heavily padded or heavily curved saddle feel.

Does the K-Series have pressure relief?

Yes. The K-Series uses a central opening designed to reduce pressure through the middle of the saddle, especially through the prostate region.

Can I use the Gelu K-Series on gravel?

Yes, but choose the right model. The K3+ is the better K-Series option for gravel, with a higher rider limit and a design brief aimed at gravel use. K4 may also suit riders needing a stronger option.

Can I use the K-Series on an MTB?

K1 and K4 are listed for MTB use. K3 is more of a pure lightweight road option. For MTB, rider weight, riding style and terrain matter, so model choice is important.

Will the carbon rails fit my seatpost?

The K-Series uses oval carbon rails. Your seatpost must be compatible with oval carbon rails, not just standard round metal rails. Check your seatpost clamp before ordering.

Can I customise the Gelu K-Series?

Yes. Gelu saddles can be customised with colours, names, logos and personal design details. This is one of the big reasons to choose Gelu over a standard off-the-shelf carbon saddle.

What if the K-Series is not the right Gelu saddle for me?

The K-Series is the lightest, flattest and most minimal performance shape. If you want a different feel, the rest of the Gelu range is easier to understand by shape:

A-Series: best all-round road, gravel and MTB option.
E-Series: compact support option.
P-Series: TT and triathlon shape for forward riding positions.
J-Series: carbon spring comfort shape for rough roads and longer rides.
F-Series: flatter carbon spring comfort shape.
S-Series: longer platform for riders who move around more.
C-Series: classic spring-inspired comfort shape.
Combo K: integrated saddle and seatpost system.
R-Series: new ultralight platform with longer rails and more adjustment range.

If you are unsure, send through your current saddle, bike, rider weight and riding style.
