Light does not have to mean nervous
The shallow 35mm rim keeps the TLO Gravel agile without the harsh, deflective feel a deep carbon rim can bring to broken ground. A 25mm internal width gives modern gravel tyres a stable shape at lower pressures, while 28 Sapim CX-Ray spokes front and rear add support for rougher riding.
DT Swiss 180: the right hub for a wheelset at this level
SINC ceramic bearings, Ratchet EXP internals and straightforward servicing give you the smooth speed of a flagship hub without making the wheelset difficult to live with.

Schmolke manufactures the carbon rims in Germany and builds each wheelset in its Konstanz workshop. Every set is individually laced, centred and tensioned before it leaves the factory.

Frequently asked questions
Will I notice the lower weight?
Yes. Against a typical 1,600 to 1,900g gravel wheelset, the difference is clearest when climbing, accelerating and repeatedly changing pace.
Are they only for gravel racing?
No. They suit fast gravel, mixed-surface riding and demanding off-road routes. Racing rewards the speed; everyday riding lets you enjoy the response more often.
Which tyre width should I use?
The 25mm internal rim is designed around 40 to 45mm gravel tyres. Your tyre must be approved for hookless tubeless rims and fit within your frame clearance.
Do I need Boost or standard spacing?
Most gravel bikes use 12x100mm front and 12x142mm rear spacing. Boost uses 15x110mm front and 12x148mm rear. Ask us to check your bike if you are unsure.
Which freehub do I need?
It depends on your cassette. Options include Shimano HG, Micro Spline, SRAM XD/XDR and Campagnolo. We can confirm the correct choice for your drivetrain.
