Compounds

AMP Carbone offer two different compounds:

Organic: Suitable for soft riding. Quick bedding in.

Ceramic: Ultimate performance. Extreme braking power with excellent vibration dissipation. Perfect for long runs and powerful braking. Recommended for wet conditions and e-Bikes.

AMP Brake Pads work with all rotors. However, if you switch the pads compound (for example, from Metallic pads to Organic or Ceramic pads), we highly recommend changing your rotors.

The Podium range comes in two Compounds:

Organic: Suitable for soft riding. Quick bedding in.

Metallic: Made to last. This compound gives its best when ridden at high temperature. Perfect for long runs and powerful braking.

The steel backplate is painted with 8 layers (30µm) of High Performance WinShield™ Ceramic Coating which is used in the Aeronautic, Aerospace and Automotive industries (Supercars & Hypercars exhausts are Ceramic Coated). Our WinShield™ coating is a true gamechanger:

Reducing the heat transferred to the calliper by 10%
Improving the overall braking performance
Reducing the cooling time after brakes are no longer applied

Less heat transferred to the calliper means a better braking feeling, a better control, resulting in more speed. Nobody steps onto the Podium without considering every detail.
