The flatter spring comfort option
The F-Series is similar in concept to the Gelu J-Series, but the ride feel is flatter.
If the J-Series is Gelu’s more classic carbon spring comfort shape, the F-Series is the lower, flatter and more level version. It is a strong option for riders who want comfort and flex from the carbon structure, but do not want the deeper spring-style feel of the J-Series.
Built for rough roads and broken surfaces
The F-Series uses a curved blade-shaped rear spring made from several layers of UD carbon. This spring is positioned lengthways through the rear of the saddle.
That is different from the J-Series, where the rear spring is arranged across the saddle. The F-Series design gives the saddle a flatter and more controlled feel under load, while still allowing the saddle to flex with the rider over rougher surfaces.
Comfort without padding
The F-Series does not use foam padding to create comfort.
The comfort comes from the full carbon structure, the curved rear spring, the saddle shape and the central pressure relief opening. This gives you a saddle that can feel more forgiving over rough surfaces while still keeping the direct feel and clean look of full carbon construction.
F-Series model options
The F-Series is available in two main versions: F1 and F3.
- F1: approx. 86g, 95kg rider limit, the stronger F-Series option for gravel, road, recreation and urban bikes.
- F3: approx. 79g, 85kg rider limit, the lighter F-Series option for road, recreation and urban bikes.
Which F-Series model should you choose?
Choose the F1 if you want the stronger and more versatile F-Series saddle. It is the better choice for gravel, road, recreation and urban bikes, especially if you want more rider support and a higher rider weight limit.
Choose the F3 if you want the lighter F-Series saddle. It is the better choice for road bikes, lighter riders and urban performance builds where low weight matters most.
