A 222g integrated carbon cockpit built for fast gravel riding, long days and complete front-end control.
The Schmolke Gravelbar Cockpit TLO combines a wide, confidence-inspiring gravel handlebar with a stiff integrated stem and fully internal cable routing. You get an exceptionally light, clean and precise cockpit without giving up the hand positions needed beyond smooth tarmac.
Handlebar and stem combined
More control in the drops
A precise, responsive front end
A completely clean cockpit
Built for speed beyond the tarmac
At a claimed 222g, the Gravelbar Cockpit TLO removes a significant amount of weight from the front of the bike while replacing a separate handlebar and stem with one exceptionally light carbon structure.
The integrated construction delivers the stiffness needed for hard accelerations, steep climbing and accurate steering across loose gravel. Its 6° flare gives you a wider, more secure position in the drops without turning the cockpit into an excessively flared adventure bar.
Comfortable wherever you hold it
A compact 77mm reach and 119mm drop make the brake levers and drops easy to access. The near-horizontal transition to the brake hoods supports a natural wrist position, while the flattened tops provide a comfortable alternative hand position during long gravel rides.
The top section remains substantial enough to preserve the stiffness expected from a TLO cockpit, giving the front end a direct and connected feel when the pace increases.
Handmade TLO carbon construction
Schmolke hand-winds the Gravelbar Cockpit TLO from premium carbon prepreg. Its carefully varied layup uses additional carbon in highly loaded areas and fewer layers where less reinforcement is required, concentrating material where it contributes most.
The cockpit is supplied with Schmolke’s unpainted matt epoxy surface. Avoiding paint saves unnecessary weight, while the fine 1K carbon weave and choice of black or white logos complete the understated finish.
Fully internal cable routing
Full ICR keeps the cables and brake hoses inside the cockpit for an uncluttered front end. Routing points are positioned at the brake levers, with central access through the stem area.
Your frame, headset and headset spacers must support a compatible fully internal routing system.

Frequently asked questions
How are the Gravelbar widths measured?
Schmolke measures its drop handlebars outside-to-outside. The available Gravelbar widths are 510, 530 and 550mm.
What does the 6° flare do?
The flare creates a wider and more secure position in the drops, giving you additional control on loose surfaces while retaining a fast, compact riding position.
Are the cables and brake hoses fully hidden?
Yes. The Gravelbar Cockpit TLO supports fully internal cable routing through the handlebar and central stem area. The bike’s frame, headset and spacers must also support a compatible ICR system.
Is this the same cockpit as the Roadbar Cockpit TLO?
No. The Gravelbar has wider 510, 530 and 550mm sizing with a 77mm reach and 119mm drop. The Roadbar is offered in narrower road-specific widths.
Which finish can I choose?
Every cockpit has a matt 1K carbon finish with your choice of understated black logos or contrasting white logos.
Choose your handlebar width, stem length and logo colour to build an exceptionally light, clean and precise gravel front end.
