Finger Blipping Good!

Designed for mounting Shimano 9150 satellite shifters on the end of Aero extensions.

Places your shifters ergonomically so you can be hold an aero position,

SHIMANO SW-R9150 SATELLITE SHIFTERS
These shifters are compatible with 11sp and 12sp groupsets, they are wired but their small profile makes it possible to mount them in ergonomic locations. The cable is routed through the wedge mechanism so it can be routed through the inside of the bars.

40 Degrees - Finger Activated - This variant is also for high hands but the shifter is positioned facing inwards for finger activation. This leaves the top clear for your thumb, preventing accidental gear changes.

Bar diameters

As standard the mounts fit extensions with and internal diameter of 17.5-19.5mm. This is the majority of extension 22.2mm grip areas. Those with 24.5mm diameter grip areas or using very thin walled carbon require the optional 19.5-22mm wedge pack.

NOTE. If it wasn't obvious the shifters are not included.

What are 76 Projects Shifter Mounts used for?
76 Projects Shifter Mounts position your SRAM AXS Blips or Shimano Di2 shifters in the most natural spot on your aero extensions, helping you shift smoothly without breaking your aero position. Read more in our blog post.
Which drivetrains are compatible with the shifter mounts?
There are 4 versions:
  • SRAM Straight Thumb
  • SRAM 40° Thumb
  • SRAM 40° Finger
  • Shimano 40° Finger
Each is built to match either SRAM AXS Wireless Blips or Shimano Di2 SW-R9150. Full compatibility guide here.
What’s the difference between the straight and 40° versions?
The straight mount suits traditional low hand positions, while the 40° versions are optimised for high hand positions. It ensures your shifter sits where your fingers naturally rest. We explain the setup options in detail here.
Can I use these mounts on any aero extensions?
Yes, they’re designed to fit inside standard aero extensions using an eccentric wedge system. This keeps the setup secure without damaging your bars. See installation tips in the blog.
Are the Shimano mounts wireless too?
No — Shimano SW-R9150 shifters are wired, but the mounts allow neat cable routing inside your extensions. The SRAM AXS Blips are wireless. We compare both here.
Do these mounts improve aerodynamics?
Yes, because you don’t have to lift your hands to shift, you stay in your aero tuck longer, reducing drag. Find out how aero gains add up here.
Are the mounts easy to install?
Absolutely — the wedge system makes it straightforward. Most riders install them in minutes with basic tools. Step-by-step guide in the blog.
Can the mounts stop accidental shifts?
Yes. The inward-facing finger-activated versions in particular prevent accidental presses, so you shift only when you mean to. See which option suits your style.
Are 76 Projects Shifter Mounts durable?
Yes, they’re UK-made with precision engineering and tested in racing conditions. Riders trust them for long-distance TTs and triathlons. Read why they’re a pro-level choice.

Shifter Mounts - Good Product, Great Service

Initially I mistakenly purchased the Shimano version rather than the SRAM. I contacted Bespoke Velo, and was able to drop by and swap the mounts, easy and free of charge. The mounts will be very useful and will assist with my high hands position on the TT bike.

Very kind of you Adam - thanks. We do everything we can to get our customers the right products as quickly as possible so if there's ever an issue just let us know.
